WELCOME TO VIVA VERA TEXTILES

A Vera scarf often symoblizes something very special to its owner. For some, it may represent a special birthday party when she wore it around her neck. For others, the scarf may bring back memories of their mothers and a bygone era. And for other Vera fans, the scarf may symbolize a fantastic day spent thrift store shopping.

For us, our Vera scarf collection is full of memories. We have discovered the scarves buried in boxes at church rummage sales, wrapped around purses at antique stores and in Grandma's closet.

Each Vera scarf has a different energy. Some are vibrant, others are whimsical, some are subdued and others have an ethnic edge. What makes each Vera scarf or other textile so fantastic is that each one reflects a little bit of the designer, Vera Neumann's personality. And there is a scarf for every mood and every purpose. Our collection keeps growing and we now have 100s of scarves, in addition to towels, sheets, table cloths, clothing items, etc.

We compiled photos of our collection into a hardcover book published by Schiffer Publishing. In our book, you will find a wide variety of Vera textiles. There are floral, geometric, ethnic and special event scarves. Also, there are colorful tablecloths with matching napkins and placemats. A variety of aprons, blouses and dresses are also shown. Some of the more unusual pieces are a fondue bib, a canvas by Vera and Christmas linens.

With over 500 photographs of Vera textiles, readers can enjoy this book for many hours. Also included is a price guide and a Biography of Vera Neuman, the amazing Renaissance woman who started a multi-million dollar textile business in her tiny New York apartment kitchen.

Enjoy and Viva Vera Textiles!
